BHSEC??? Bard High school early college??? HELP?

ok so im applying to Bard High School for Early College I and II in New York City. Of course like all schools they have a criteria and requirements. I meet all the requirements for this school but..., i have more than 10 lateness or tardies for school which is not meeting the criteria. I was sick really bad last year so i hope im excused a little. I just really really want to go to this school and get in and be with all my friends even ,if they get in first. This school is not easy to get into i know. Is their any1 that went to bard that had more than 10 lateness. I want to know if im down for the count or still has a chance. My lateness aren't that bad.
